Free business listings
Every business, chip truck, studio, and attraction on or near the corridor gets a listing at no cost. That's what keeps this site complete. Send your business name, town, what you do in one sentence, and a website or Facebook page if you have one. Paid placement exists (see advertising below), but money never decides who's included.
Email your listing to administrator@onthe7.ca
Submit an event
Markets, festivals, fairs, cruise nights, suppers, studio tours — if it's on or near the 7, we want it, and it's free. Send the event name, date and time, town, and one sentence about it. If it's recurring (a weekly market, say), tell us the season and we'll keep it current.

Tell us about a place
Been somewhere on the 7 that deserves more people? Write and tell us about it. We print reader reviews in your own words, credited however you like — first name and last initial is the usual — and we always ask before publishing. There are no stars or scores here and there won't be: one person who actually ate the poutine is worth more than a score out of five. We check the place out before it goes up, so tell us where it is and roughly when you were there.

Advertising & featured placement
Featured listings, area-guide sponsorship for real-estate agents and rental owners, and newsletter sponsorship are how the site pays for its gas. Email us for the media kit and current rates. The standing rule: paid placement buys visibility, never inclusion or editorial opinion.
The newsletter
This Weekend on the 7 — one email every other Thursday afternoon: what's on, what's open, what's worth the detour. Free, local, unsubscribe anytime.
