Coming up here
- Sun, Oct 25 · 1–5pm Autumn Harvest Country Show and Dance
An afternoon of country music and dancing at the arena with Gord Barnes, Andy Bowes, Wade Foster, Brad Munro, Yvan Petit and Mark Lemieux, and Rob Dodge of Valley Heritage Radio hosting. Twenty-five dollars, all for Home Hospice North Lanark. Tickets at Burns Jewellers.

Tuesday nights at the arena on Neelin Street, run by the Carleton Place and District Civitan Club — doors at half past four, games at half past six, with a well-stocked canteen and club members working the room.
- Sat, Nov 7 · 10am–4pm Rotary Women's Fair
The Rotary club fills the arena with crafts, clothing, pottery, jewellery, home decor and food vendors, plus a silent auction. Lunch is at the Rotary Café.
- Fri, Jan 1 · 1–3pm New Year's Day Levee
Town Council's New Year's Day levee at the arena, with free public skating, hot chocolate, popcorn and hot dogs. Come say happy new year to your neighbours and your council.
