Flinton Falls & Conservation Area

A small Quinte Conservation property at the west end of the village — mature white pine, a few picnic tables, parking for a handful of cars, and a short trail to a viewpoint over the top of Flinton Falls. A concrete dam carries the Skootamatta over here, with the ruins of the old mill and powerhouse in the river below. Dawn to dusk. Stay at the viewpoint; the way down is blocked by dam concrete and broken by sudden drops.
