L&A Forest Trails

Ten kilometres of purpose-built trail across 120 acres of county forest, right at the edge of the village — nine marked routes from the easy 2.5 km Pines Loop to the technical single-track of Dipsy Doodle and Lost & Found, over granite outcrop and through mature pine. Built for mountain bikes, but hikers and snowshoers get just as much out of it. Free, open year-round, with about 4 km groomed in winter for fat bikes and snowshoes and a bicycle repair station at the trailhead. Non-motorized throughout except one marked 750 m orange section for ATVs and sleds.
