St Andrew's United Church
The best-documented church history on the whole corridor. Organized in 1868 as Marmora Methodist Church, the building at Bursthall and Matthew was dedicated November 4, 1874, with wings added in 1903. A January 1944 fire gutted the interior and destroyed the organ; the renovated church reopened June 10, 1945, and an education wing followed in 1960.
