A serious step up from a roadside dark-sky pull-off — a public observation pad beside a 16-inch research telescope, in a township that was Canada's first officially certified Dark Sky Preserve. Free parking, accessible washrooms, electrical service. About 20 minutes off Hwy 41 near Cloyne.
