Mellon Lake water access
The little gravel access onto Mellon Lake, just south of the Dark Sky Viewing Area — steep and small, and strictly a cartop spot. Slide a canoe down; don't dream of a trailer. Deep enough for a dip, and it makes the corridor's best evening plan work — paddle or swim at dusk, then stay for the stars a few steps back up the road.
